At SIMAC Tanning-Tech in Milan, Italy, February 25-27, 2015 (Hall 18, Stands H42/K47), Mind will be presenting – together with Zünd - its new versions of MindCAD 2015 software for footwear design and engineering, and its innovative solutions for automatic cutting, based on MindCUT Studio 2015.

SIMAC 2015 - International Exhibition of Machines and Technologies for Footwear and Leather Goods Industries – presents the latest technological solutions in machinery, tools and software for these industries.

Mind will give live demonstrations of MindCUT solutions based on Zünd digital cutters: a Zünd L3 C-56 leather cutter with a new projection system and two S3 M-800 cutters working in tandem, to create significant productivity increases. Of particular interest to the footwear industry, a Zünd G3 L-2500 with two CE extensions will be shown cutting shoe sole and reinforcement materials, also controlled by MindCUT Studio software.

Efficient and economical turnkey solution
Complementing Zünd’s L3 cutter series, Zünd now offers a complete turnkey solution, including a projection system, seemly integrated with MindCUT Studio software.

An outstanding feature of the software is the intelligent nesting function. The user has the option to nest interactively or select different levels of automated nesting. In all phases, both the cutter and software are specifically geared towards maximizing the yield from leather as valuable raw material. The system keeps waste to an absolute minimum. This perfectly matched, turnkey system delivers exceptional productivity and is equally well equipped to meet the needs of smaller, custom producers as well as high-volume operators.
